Sharna and Sascha – A Furner wedding.
Nothing could have made the day any more perfect for Sharna Scudds and Sascha Bucher, as they exchanged vows in the picture-perfect surrounds in the garden of the Scudds family property, ‘Barkala’ near Furner in South Australia’s south east.
The beautiful winter sunshine bathed the garden in an incredibly magical, golden light, and not a breath of wind stirred the bare branches of the trees growing at the edge of the garden, where close family and friends gathered to witness the ceremony.
The guests partied the night away with the bride and groom at a reception held at the Furner Community Hall – the entire district experiencing a total blackout, (luckily) just moments after the festivities had wound up for the night.

And a little bit of romance.

There was plenty of skylarking . . .
But then they pulled it all together . . .
Then there was cake. It’s always good to finish with cake.
