Ben+Rebecca – Married Under the Tuscan Sun

The combination of travel and photography have always entwined as two of my greatest loves; but to be asked to document the wedding of Ben and Rebecca in Siena, Tuscany,  (yes, Tuscany in Italy!   The home of Da Vinci, pasta, pizza, gelato and espresso) was beyond a dream come true for me.

Ben and Rebecca were married in an intimate ceremony held in the magnificent town hall – Palazzo Pubblico – in the town square, Piazza del Campo, presided over by the Lord Mayor of Siena, and surrounded by family and friends from Australia, the UK, …

It’s been said that you can’t take a bad photo in Tuscany, and my heart was set on capturing not only the essence of this ancient Roman town with it’s myriad cobbled streets and winding alleyways, but also the love between these two beautiful people.

Their reception was held at a traditional villa in the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a beautiful vista of vineyards, winding roads and gently rolling hills.

The wedding was breathtaking. Their entire day, magical.

Ben and Rebecca, I can only hope that my gratitude to you both for including me in your day, is reflected in the images I was able to create for you.

Come take a little peek at the slideshow of Ben and Rebecca’s wedding under the Tuscan sun.  Would love to hear what you think.

Ciao!
